A regeneration development in Berkshire, Arborfield Green is a hub of community activity. Embracing the garden village principles, the Crest Nicholson development has plentiful green spaces and, along with the help of community mobiliser, Becky Eytle, a thriving community – with lots of events to bring together neighbours, friends and nearby communities.

Recently, Arborfield Green hosted a Spring Family Fun Day for residents at the Arborfield Community Centre, at the heart of the development.

The event was a huge success, with entertainment from a petting farm, arts and crafts, henna tattooing and face painting. There was even an Easter egg hunt for children to enjoy, along with stalls from Wokingham businesses.

Becky, as Preim’s community mobiliser, works to engage local stakeholders with the Arborfield community whilst also empowering residents and ensuring they make the most of communal assets at the development; making them part of ‘village’ life. An event like the Spring Fun Day helps to achieve all of the above – and it certainly looks like all who came along had a lot of fun!
