Why do you want my email address/ contact telephone number etc?

We ask for these details so we can contact you about your property and the area around it.

We also email information to shareholders and members. For example, if we have your email address, we can let you know about your next shareholders’ meeting straight away; saving on the expense, time and environmental impact of sending letters.

We never make email addresses or telephone numbers available to other companies.

How do you keep my information safe?

All Preim transactions take place in a safe environment, using the latest security technology to protect our customers.

Our merchant service encrypts your credit card information to ensure your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel over the internet. We accept transactions only from web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology – this means you cannot inadvertently place a transaction through an unsecured connection. Most web browsers above version three support this security.

What can I do to increase my internet security?

Preim takes every reasonable precaution to ensure that your data is as safe and secure as possible. However, there are a number of additional precautions you can take to increase internet security:

  • always close down your internet browser when you have finished browsing online, especially if you use a shared device. This will delete temporary Internet cookies from any sites you may have visited.
  • never reveal your password to others.
  • always take care when using sensitive information as such as card details when in public areas.
