The stars came out - literally - at one of the developments we manage this summer, as residents gathered on the local common for an annual open-air cinema night.
Neighbours settled in with chairs and blankets for an evening under the sky, watching two films chosen by residents themselves - Zootropolis 2 at 6:00pm, followed by Michael 2026 at around 8:00pm.
Residents came prepared, bringing food and drink and settling in for a real picnic atmosphere as the sun went down. As the evening drew on and the common grew dark a few well-placed torches helped light the way home.
Events like this are all about bringing the community together for a relaxed evening of food, films and conversation, and this year's Movie Night was no exception.
Some families got there early to set up their picnic spots and get a good view and many neighbours caught up over snacks between films. It was a lovely reminder of what makes this such a great community to be part of.
Thank you to all who came along and helped make the evening such a success, we're already looking forward to next year's instalment.
