Sure, the tinsel’s packed away now and the tree’s long gone, but we think some moments from December are worth revisiting.
Our Christmas event for the Preim managed Kingsfleet estate in Thetford, held on 10 December, brought residents together for a great afternoon of connection and open dialogue about the place they call home.
With over three hours of conversation, questions, and community spirit, this event was a fantastic example of the values we’re carrying forward into 2026: community, connection, and progress.
Thetford Management Company organised and welcomed residents to the Christmas event at the local garden centre. From 3:00 to 6:00 pm, the venue was buzzing with a genuine sense of community spirit. Even the chilly winter weather couldn’t dampen the atmosphere!

This wasn’t just another festive get-together, though. The event created a valuable space for residents to engage directly with their estate management team.
Representatives from Preim were joined by Active Travel Planning Coordinator, Andrew Bingham, a third-party contractor appointed by our client - all of whom were available throughout the afternoon to answer questions, provide updates, and hear what matters most to residents.
Conversations ranged from the practical - parking issues, street lighting, and grounds maintenance - to the long-term: school development proposals, community infrastructure, and future phases of Thetford’s growth.
It was clear that residents care deeply about their neighbourhood, and we’re grateful for the openness and honesty shared.
Bringing residents and management teams together face-to-face always builds more than rapport, it builds trust. It allows us to address questions in real-time, listen to lived experiences, and show our commitment to transparency, accountability, and shared progress.
We're currently reviewing the feedback and queries raised during the event and will be posting follow-up updates through the Places app — our resident's go-to hub for estate updates and announcements.
And yes, we’re already planning the next event. We hope to see even more of our residents there, because the strongest communities are the ones built together.
