As autumn leaves begin to fall and the air grows crisp, we’re looking back fondly at one of the final sunny highlights of the season, the Tadpole Garden Village Community Day, held on Saturday 30th August, on the Eastern Common area of the development.
With summer still lingering, the event brought families and neighbours together for a day full of connection, colour, and community.
From family-friendly films on the open-air cinema screen to joyful chaos at the funfair, dog show, and face painting stalls, the Eastern Common was alive with energy.
Martial arts displays thrilled the crowd, local musicians set the soundtrack, and Roger’s ever-popular free bike repairs kept wheels turning smoothly.
While winds kept the inflatables grounded, and rain eventually made an appearance (typical British summertime!), the community spirit never wavered.
The evening wrapped up with a memorable screening of Jurassic Park: Rebirth, embraced by a hardy crowd under umbrellas.
None of it would’ve been possible without our dedicated team of resident volunteers who took care of all the planning and preparation for the day. Thank you for all your behind-the-scenes work to create great community gatherings like this.
