Supporting Summer Fun at Kingsgrove

We were delighted to support the Wantage Primary Academy Summer Fete this year - an afternoon full of fun, community spirit, and local pride at the heart of Kingsgrove.

Held on Saturday 5th July from 12–3pm, the event brought together families, local businesses, and friends of the school in support of a very special goal: raising funds to improve the school’s library to create a brighter, more inspiring space where children can learn, imagine, and grow.

With games, stalls, performances, and a packed raffle, the event had something for everyone:

  • ·Games and activities for the whole family]
  • A range of local stallholders offering crafts, gifts, and handmade goods
  • A tempting bake sale featuring homemade treats
  • A raffle full of fantastic prizes - including a £100 Love2Shop voucher donated by Preim
  • Live performances from the Wantage Silver Band
  • A musical set by ADS, bringing energy and entertainment to the stage

The result? A brilliant total of £3,981 raised to help fund the school’s library transformation project - a huge achievement and a testament to the energy of the organisers, the generosity of the community, and the importance of shared spaces like these.

Jenny MacKenzie, on behalf of Friends of Wantage Primary Academy, told us, “The prize you donated was very well received – the lucky winner was absolutely thrilled! Your support played a big part in making the event such a fantastic success.”

“It’s great to see the Kingsgrove community come together for such a meaningful cause,” said Tom Tracy, our Estate Manager.

“We’re always happy to support local events like this, especially when the impact will benefit so many children and families for years to come.”

At Preim, we believe estate management goes beyond buildings and green spaces. It’s about building community. Supporting events like this is just one of the many ways we stay connected to the people and places we’re proud to work with.

A big thank you to the Friends of Wantage Primary Academy and everyone involved in planning such a brilliant day. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
