As part of our annual safety inspections, every play area we look after is independently assessed by ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) to ensure that equipment remains safe, well-maintained, and fit for use, with any issues flagged for prompt attention.
During the most recent inspection at the Anson Road play area, on the Locking Moor development, some medium-risk concerns were raised, including corroded steelwork on part of the multiplay unit.
Our on-site management team wasted no time getting to work to resolve the issue. The necessary repairs to the multiplay handrail have now been completed by one of our trusted contractors, who restored the corroded steelwork to a safe, strong, and well-presented condition.

Images above show how the equipment looked before and after completion of the works.
“These inspections are an important part of our commitment to safety,” said Tom Tracy, Estate Manager at Preim. “Acting quickly on the recommendations means we can keep our play areas safe and enjoyable for everyone.”
We’d like to thank residents for their patience while these important safety improvements were carried out.
