Recent improvement works have been completed at Preim-managed Rowner, in a project that has enhanced both the appearance and long-term maintenance of the development.
The works carried out included:
Residents of maisonettes on the site were offered a choice when it came to refreshing their main entrance doors. While the standard approach included preparation, treatment, and varnishing, many residents in fact opted for a modern twist: a dark grey painted finish, carefully selected to complement the estate’s existing canopies and window frames.
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, showing just how impactful small, thoughtful design choices can be in helping homes feel more cohesive and cared for.
“Giving residents the choice between a traditional varnish or the grey paint option worked really well,” said Damian Tusting, Estate Manager at Preim. “We had a great uptake, and it’s made a real difference to the appearance of the block, more cohesive, modern, and in keeping with the rest of the development.”
In addition to the door upgrades, the works also included targeted repairs to cracking areas of external render, followed by a fresh coat of paint in a matching like-for-like colour, keeping the overall look of the development neat, consistent, and in line with its original design.
These improvements reflect our ongoing commitment to keeping estates well-maintained, responsive to resident preferences, and looking their best.
Thanks to all our residents for their cooperation during the works.
